The PFM Reform Coordination Department has organized a Consultative Meeting on Promoting use of Country financial management System for external funds received by Ministries, Departments and Agencies, and abolishing the collection of fees that do not appear in the national budget.
The Meeting was held at Ambassador Hotel on February 08, 2020, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Finance Development Hon. Muse Ibrahim Yusuf and Facilitated by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance Development Mr. Mohamed Abdi Gurhan.
The Ministry of Planning and National Development, the Central Bank, Office of the Auditor General, Technical team from the House of Representatives, Accountant General Office and other key Departments of the Ministry of Finance Development including the SLFMIS, Internal Audit, Budgeting and Planning were in attendance.
The PFM is designed to improve the government’s capacity and systems to utilize public funds, towards meeting the National Development Plan (NDPII) goals and those of Vision 2030.
